17 The Epistle of James: Above All

James Meyers, III concludes our consideration of the Epistle of James by discussing what is written about the veracity and trustworthiness of our word, which is very reflective of what Christ said. All of this blessed letter has led to this wonderful conclusion which is precipitated by a most striking qualifier: “Above all.” When the great apostle gives such a call to attention, we ought to give such greater attention. James Meyers does so by encouraging Christians toward looking to Christ, the author and finisher of our faith.
