While many emphasize Deborah’s gender, James Meyers takes a different approach while simultaneously not minimizing it either. While genders are distinct, all believers, regardless of sex, are only saved and called to ministry by the providence and faithfulness of God. Therefore, this is James’s main objective: to elevate God and His word over and above any and all conjecture, no matter how valid or otherwise. All that is true and absolute comes from the Absolute Truth Himself.
